My Friends
Great friends are a treasure and here are some of my best. We’ve had great times and not so great times but we get through them together. Go tell your friends you treasure them and see your friendship grow.
Brownie
Brownie is always getting into mischief. No one makes him; I think he enjoys it. He’s always sorry afterwards though. But I often wonder if he’s really sorry for the trouble he’s caused or sorry for the trouble he’s in. See how he got a fright in The Missing Bear.
Toffee
Toffee is a caring bear and a great help to me. Always ready for adventure, I don’t even need to ask him for help. He’s a great friend of Mumbles. He’s not the brightest bear, and he and Mumbles are funny together.
Rose
Rose is the bunny with a big heart. She’s always ready to give someone a hug when they are upset or hurting. She’s always giving Brownie hugs because he’s always getting himself into mischief or giving himself a fright. Her hearing is sharp and she’s a great help in tracking down naughty bears.
Giraffe
Giraffe keeps to herself a lot but is always ready to help when her height is required. I helped her find her contact lens once and she’s been forever grateful. Brownie once rode and steered her using her horns when making mischief.
Mumbles
You have to listen hard to Mumbles. He mumbles a lot, even in his sleep to the delight of the other animals. He’s a bit clumsy but a lot of fun and he’s always there when I need him with Toffee.
Vanilla
Vanilla is a mischievous mastermind. She’s always playing pranks like putting salt in the sugar bowl, sewing the legs of Dad’s jeans closed, and putting chocolate powder in my helmet. See what happens to her in the book, The Pranksters.
Flora
Flora may be smaller than the other animals, but she has a big heart. She’s shy, kind, and gentle but don’t get on the wrong side of her or you’ll be in for a shock!
